As many of you have noticed, ep 6 and 7 has been up for a while.. I've just been a bit busy and had issues screen capping the files ^^;; This time it finally worked, so here you go! =D

I've also been asked if we have stopped subbing this, and the answer is no. Seeing as I am the only subber on this project, as well as working on a few others (you may have seen them floating around elsewhere =D), and trying to juggle work/school it's a slow process, but eventually it will all be done! Do not worry! <3

Just wanted to post a list of terms that we expect the viewer to know when they watch our subs. Most of these are going to be honorifics, but I may add to them as needed.

Aniki, ani-ue, oniisan, an-chan, etc = big brother (ocassionally can just refer to a young but older man, and may not necessarily be related to the person)

Aneki, ane-ue, oneesan, etc = big sister (occassionally can just refer to a young, but older woman, and my not necessarily be related to that person)

Okaasan, haha-ue, haha = mother

Otousan, chichi-ue, chichi = father

Ojisan = uncle, can also be used to describe a middle-aged man (doesn't need to be related to you)

Obasan = aunty, can also be used to describe a middle-aged woman (doesn't need to be related to you)

Ojiisan = grandpa, can also be used to describe an old man (doesn't need to be related to you)

Obaasan = grandma, can also be used to describe an old woman (doesn't need to be related to you)

-san = a generic honorific, often translated as Mr., or Ms. It is generally used for someone you're not that close to, or when you're being polite.

-chan = an honorific used for someone you are close to, or for a child. This generally has a cuter sound to it, and is often used by girls

-sama = an honorofic used for those who are above you, such as royalty or the gods, or someone who you really adore.

-dono = an honorific generally used in historical dramas, it is very dated, and is often used by those in the samurai class

-kun = an honorific generally used on young boys, or a male you are really close to

Well, I've been caught. And it's totally my bad. Using "my bad" does not mean I'm joking, or even that I'm not taking it seriously. I'm sorry to the people I've hurt, the lives I've ruined, and all the feelings invested.

In my defense, I'd like to say this. I really did not know what I was doing when we started on this project. I didn't know how to work ANYTHING. My Japanese isn't too strong. While I apparently am a crap timer, thats really all I know how to do in this project of ours, besides be a rather GOOD editor, correcting typos/grammar things(I think I missed one or two though). The first episode was my fault alone. Miaka worked long and hard on the translations, she didn't know what or how I was trying to time it. I tried to time it myself but gave up halfway. When I gave up, I looked to see if anyone had started the same project and I found it. I realized that it was wrong, even at that time, but I figured I would know how to change it into our own. I was wrong. I know that, it was always in the back of my head, wondering if someone would find out. You see, I don't take internet seriously. I didn't think people would care. My goal for this project was mainly, to let out the subs to a small audience, mainly friends. I guess, there were bigger ambitions of which I was not aware.

Episode 2 was entirely my doing. I don't care if it was crap or not, I worked on that myself. From a personal stand point, even if someone were to take it, I wouldn't care, then again, I don't take internet seriously. I should "lurk moar", possibly. But I definitely understand plagiarism, that was why I had done episode 2 by myself.

I'm sorry to you Miaka, I really didn't know how to do anything. Thats what drove me to do what I did. I'm really sorry. I'm sorry to everyone else on team. I know you guys worked hard. I'm especially sorry to those I hurt, specifically (Name editted out to protect privacy). I'm truly sorry for what I did. As for the tone of this letter, I apologize. I figured writing in voice would sound more sincere. Again I am sorry.

Because of this matter, we have decided to drop Fuuma no Kojirou. Miaka should have already taken episode 1 off the DD. If you still want it, because you can read fast(I've heard that was my downfall), we'll be happy to crank out something... maybe. If you like to wait forever. But otherwise, we'll be focusing on other projects. Sorry again everyone.

Well I don't know about everyone else. But I am. I haven't even had time to do much of any of our fansubbing responsiblities because of school ToT so sorry. I felt I had to justify my absence. Even though I don't even think people look at this site.

Well here's an in depth look at... myself! So you stalkers don't get bored
Studies - Soon to be BA in English, minor in Religion, almost minor in Japanese but I got lazy and got bad grades. Recently got accepted to graduate school. Where you may ask? All of this is University of Hawaii.
Likes - J-dorama, tokusatsu, anime ( mecha, plz! oh and fanservice-y kind LOL), racquetball
Dislikes - stupid people, posers, slackers (though i am one)
Future Me - Famous author/professor/magazine editor/screenwriter

Hmm... I think thats it. Well I had some time so I did some more stuff for Fuuma. If we didn't have a lazy typesetter/all the techy things i dunno. I think we may have been cranking this out faster... But.. I just asked Miaka to help me out in learning some more stuff besides timing... but I dunno.... Well till next time people!

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to SaiMin Subs! This fansubbing group is going to be mainly focused on tokusatsu shows, and basically anything else we can think of :D.

Just to give a little background on why we chose the name SaiMin: To several of us, Saimin means a total of 3 things.

1) Saimin = Ramen, but in a different dialect of Chinese. Saimin is the popular name for this dish in Hawaii, where most of us are from, its served everywhere, including McDonald's! Imagine being able to order ramen from McDonald's! Well we can :D

2) Saimin = 催眠 = hypnosis in Japanese. Do I really have something else to say about this? :D

3) Saimin = Saimin II, our cat. His name is Saimin II, don't forget the II. It comes from him being part siamese... which kinda sounds like saimin.... And since his name is hard to say (no it isn't), we have several nicknames for him, Bien (from BN = benjo neko = bathroom cat), Saimonini, and brat. He belongs to Bakaneko425, ..technically, but he loves his grandma and only sits in IkemenSarang's lap. Miaka975 is the evil aunty who likes to torture him :D. He lives in our home in Hawaii and tortures his brother, Tiggy III, (yes he's the third Tiggy).

We're still a ways from getting our first release out, but I just want to do a little member introductions!
